Case Scenario Joe is a 13-year-old boy living in Tom Price, Western Australia, with his parents and two younger siblings— Harry (6 years old) and Alison (3 years old). He was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis (CF) at a young age and has been receiving treatment at Perth Children’s Hospital for exacerbations of CF symptoms. In addition to CF, Joe also experiences procedural anxiety and pancreatic insufficiency as a complication of his condition.
