53-year-old male just diagnosed with oral mouth cancer (oral 0.5 cm lesion present back of right-side buccal area). Physician has suggested a series of chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Client has been married for 30 years and has three adult children which range ages 22-28 years old. There is one toddler aged grandchild. Client does not list a religion however, did attend a Lutheran church as a child. His spouse actively practices a Catholic religion. Client has a history of smoking 1.5 packs cigarettes per day.
