I need help revising my strategic plan issue. I am a A student an this instructor gave me a failing grade on this assignment and she is not giving me any direction. I’m including the paper below with some of her notes at the top and bottom please help.

Description of the Strategic plan Issue

            The purpose of this article is to address the absence of mental health services in the community. Strategic planning is essential for recognizing problems and attaining the organization’s objectives. The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the organization on which I will build my strategic plan. NAMI is a non-profit organization that provides community-based mental health assistance.

NAMI Mission

            NAMI St. Louis provides education, advocacy, and support essential to the recovery, resilience, and well-being of all who have mental health needs and their families, caregivers, and the community.

NAMI Vision

            In our envisioned future mental illness will no longer thwart a person’s fulfillment of his or her potential. With early pinpoint diagnoses, interventions, and targeted medications and services, there is no pervasive disability. Ultimately, we envision a day when prevention or a cure is found. (NAMI, 2020) 

Meeting the Mission

            Despite the epidemic, the organization’s mission of improving the lives of children and adults with mental illnesses in the Saint Louis region is still being fulfilled by delivering early pinpoint diagnostic therapy and personalized medications. The organization may not be as effective in providing these services to the community at the level anticipated due to high personnel turnover. 

Achievements

            NAMI publishes reports on vital, developing topics to educate the public on the necessity of an excellent mental health policy. NAMI operates a crisis line from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT seven days a week. In a crisis, NAMI may also be reached by SMS. Their website features a monthly schedule of events that lists all of their webinars and special speakers. NAMI provides help to families of those who are dealing with mental illness, frontline workers, current military, and

Devising a Plan

            With the cooperation of local hospitals, a strategy might be established to assist more individuals in the community. I believe NAMI is working hard to achieve its objectives and satisfy the community’s needs, but the demand for mental health services far outnumbers the organization’s resources. Most charity organizations rely only on contributions. Therefore, a strategy may be put in place to enhance the present and future goals. Volunteers will require the assistance of the same community that they are helping to be willing to support the organization’s requirements.

            Reduced staffing, increased substance abuse, increased suicides, increased hate crimes, job loss, lack of food resources, and increased homelessness rates in the community are among the current trends identified by the health care organization. 

 

 

Strategic Plan Development

            Start a strategic plan by launching a mental health initiative at the executive level to support the mental health community’s needs. Middle management will establish a triage team to determine the patients’ acuity level, as well as relationships with local hospitals to direct admit those patients with higher acuity. Patients with lesser acuity can be triaged over the phone and scheduled for a telephone medicine call at a later time. The operations team will check the accuracy of the triage calls and meet with the local hospital monthly to review the efficacy of the high-acuity admissions.

 

Conclusion

 

The paper does not follow the content rubric for the assignment… thus it is difficult to find content for scoring the material…  The paper will need to be revised to use as the foundation of the strategic plan project paper.  There is a lot of material that needs to be edited or created to explain your project.  This content will be used again in subsequent modules and at the end for the entire paper/portfolio assignment.
