Nursing home patient diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia. Could you have performed a bedside evaluation on this patient or were not able to clear their sections? Would do you think about giving the patient a dose of vancomycin. Patients Creatinine was elevated, but what is her baseline? Is there some AKI going on? Yes patient have AKI. If that is the case then Vancomycin would be contraindicated due to how hard it can be on kidneys
