Scenario: You are an ambulance officer and have just arrived on scene where a father has reported that his daughter has been injured. She is from a Muslim background and is dressed in a full burqa. She is showing signs of blood loss and potential breathing difficulties. Task: Your task is to approach the father and gain consent to treat the patient. You must navigate the situation and communicate to the father what needs to be addressed, leading to an acceptable treatment. This treatment must respect the father’s religious and cultural traditions, as well as meet medical industry protocols. You must demonstrate this by making a 2-3 minute video recording of a simulated discussion between yourself and another person acting as the father.
