the spread of the virus. Recently developed policies have outlined the following procedures that are
essential to follow:
● Enhanced PPE gear to be worn in the hospital by staff
● Routine swabs to take place, regularly testing for covid
● Low threshold to isolate patients if they become febrile
You are the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) of the Austin Hospital in Melbourne and are required to work

alongside the Nurse in Charge and educators to ensure all staff understand the new policies and
procedures and follow them correctly. As the NUM, you are required to provide training for all nurses on
