Situational Description/Introduction/Nurse Leader Role: Granting nurses more control over their work schedule, including breaks and how long their shifts are. Many nurses are working overtime amid the COVID Crisis to keep up with the demands on the medical industry. There would be greater liberty within the nursing staff if overtime days could be chosen instead of being required. As a result, there would be less nurse fatigue and burnout, and a setting would be established for the best possible patient care.
