As an MSN-prepared nurse, will be hosting a panel of nurse leaders. The panel will be addressing recent low satisfaction patient and staff feedback scores due to the scores were low to patient-centered communication strategies not being utilized by all nursing staff and nursing staff scores indicate that there is a dissatisfaction with communication by nursing leadership.
Your role on the committee is to develop questions that will explore the reasons for low scores and how to improve upon them. Develop two sets of interview questions along with the rationale for the questions and present them to the committee prior to the panel.
One set of questions will focus on communication between staff and patients and the second set of questions will focus on communication between staff and nursing leadership.
