Different facilitators of research have been found in literature that includes availability of research, peer support, managerial support, supportive policies, etc. Many barriers have also been found in literature including lack of understanding of statistics, support by organizations, lack of nurses’ research and skills, lack of time, etc. (Shifaza et al., 2014). What sticks out here to me is the lack of time. We all know that many of us do not have time for much else in our lives as we are already busy enough. But what can we do to have more time for research? What can an APN do in their future role to ensure that they take some time for research? Please cite source and reference in answer
