I am interested to apply for mental health post-master certificate. I would love to continue my career as a mental health nurse practitioner. 

While I was in medical school, I became familiar with psychotherapy and the mental health well-being of patients. This interest went to a level that I took all my electives in mental health and psychotherapy. Among all disciplines, mental health was one of the most fascinating ones for me. I have always been curious to learn about human behavior and the reason behind their actions. Unfortunately, mental health is still stigmatized in many places and people are not free to access the help they need without being judged. 

After immigrating to the US and continuing my journey in health care and nursing I was looking for an opportunity to broaden my knowledge in mental health nursing. Given the opportunity, I see myself as dedicated, hardworking, and enthusiastic to learn about mental health. Considering my strong medical and FNP background, I am confident that I will be successful in this program and be able to help people who need it.

I see after Covid the need for mental health care has risen tremendously. I have seen in close family and friends how stress and anxiety have been building up towards an unknown future and have paralyzed their lives. I would love to have the opportunity to help people to overcome their mental burdens toward a happier future.
