KS is a 29 year old female who presents to your office with complaints of pain with urination. She says she has never had this before and “can’t stand it a minute longer.” She says she sometimes feels like she has to urinate, but nothing comes out.

Her social history includes being a graduate student, working part time as a waitress. She does not smoke, denied recreational drug use. Considers herself a social drinker. Is sexually active and states, “I date a lot.”

General: Appears healthy, no acute distress
Lungs: Clear anterior/posterior. No wheezing or SOB.
Cardiac: RRR, S1, S2, no S3 no S4. No murmur.
Abdomen: Slightly tender to suprapubic palpation; no palpable masses; no CVA tenderness.
