I’ve worked in healthcare for five years

I’ve worked in healthcare for five years and one year in healthcare administration. One of the philosophies is ensuring that every staff member has the proper technology. We live in a world driven by technology, and healthcare is no different. Some of the philosophies that help influence my decision are, for example, to always remain in compliance. Compliance is not only a way to help ensure that every staff is taking the proper measure but also a great way to help ensure that staff is given the proper tools needed (Smith, 2007). Compliance helps drive these changes because it helps expose the wrong technology used that may cause gaps. (Alotaibi, 2017 Dec) For example, I realized that some of the information was obsolete in the OR. The scanner was seeing it as a current product. Technology is something that will be very prevalent throughout healthcare. With that, some changes need to consider, one being patient care. Patients are more than ever since covid trying to receive care within the comfort of their homes. They would if patient care gets the same care as in a traditional medical setting.
