Assess two areas of your nursing practice that you would like to improve upon. I’m always wanting and seeking out ways for each patient to receive the best possible care. Consider the topics or issues that motivate you and think about those areas within your specialty that might need improvement. For example, perhaps you are very passionate about lowering readmissions by making sound recommendations and helping patients follow through on their continuing care. I would like to be known for my advocacy work on behalf of long-term care patients and their families. I believe that too often, the needs of this population are overlooked or ignored, and I am committed to making sure that their voices are heard. I am also passionate about social justice and equality, and I hope to use my platform to help fight for those who are underserved or marginalized. I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, and I will work to ensure that everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive. I also believe that there is a great need for improvement in the long-term care system, and I am working to make sure that patients receive the quality care that they deserve. In addition, I am committed to finding solutions to the challenges we face in healthcare. I believe that we need to work together to find ways to improve access to care and make it more affordable.
