I need to come up with a PICOT question in regards to “How does the quality of care affect the patients with the shortage of nurses in providing them with safe and quality care? I decided to do the project because I work in many facilities, hospitals, and etc., and they are always short nurses and I hear the residents and patients make comments on how there are not a lot of nurses or aides, so they do not get the best care. 9. I hope to achieve a lot as in how these nurses understand that there is a shortage nationwide and that we are all in this together to lean on ask for help if they need a break and to not be scared to reach out to agencies if they need help. 10. I would need more staffing, more advocates to spread the word that help is needed, poster board, Brand, education nursing classes that are more accelerated, more education educators, and nursing programs easier to get into and not so competitive. 11. My project will have a long term effect because nursing is needed everywhere and there are so many patients that need care. 12. Yes, I am pretty sure it could be if people had the opportunity to get into the nursing program quicker instead of being put on a waiting list. 13. I am not sure how my project will be evaluated at this time. (I NEED TO FIX THIS AS WELL) 14. I could not say I would really see any risks associated with this project but maybe an improvement can be made once others see the need that these patients and residents really need. 15. I do not see why my project would not succeed or what may prevent it from succeeding.
