How I can respond to this discussion

How I can respond to this discussion Paying for health care in the United States is based on four different methods. The four different methods involve out-of-pocket payment, individual private insurance, employment-based group private insurance, and government financing (Bodenheimer & Grumbach, 2020). People who can’t qualify for health care or perhaps whose insurance doesn’t cover certain costs pay out of pocket. “Your expenses for medical care aren’t reimbursed by insurance. Out-of-pocket costs include deductibles, coinsurance, and copayments for covered services plus all costs for services that aren’t covered.” (HealthCare.gov) I’ve met many immigrant families here in the United States who don’t qualify for health care and must pay out of pocket for these crazy prices. Individual private insurance is for individuals who are not covered by employer or government-based insurance. “Individual health insurance is coverage that you purchase on your own, on an individual or family basis, as opposed to obtaining through an employer or from a government-run program like Medicare, Medicaid or CHIP.” Employment-based group private insurance is insurance sponsored by your employer, it’s great to take advantage of because it can cover dental, life, and short- and long-term disabilities. (healthinsurance.org) Lastly, government financing which is Medicare and Medicaid. Medicaid is for Americans with low incomes, its available nationwide but eligibility varies from state to state, it is used by 77.3 million people. Medicare on another hand is to provides coverage for Americans 65 and up, also people with disabilities. (healthinsurance.org)
