So here we are. We have to

So here we are. We have to ask, what is this false division between the Art and the Sciences? Why has science gotten this bad reputation, that it destroys beauty and wonder, when in fact artists like Percy Bysshe Shelley (Mary’s huband) have loved Science, Jesuit priests have added to Einstein’s theories, and, as Richard Feynman says in his little clip, when you know more about something, such as a flower, you don’t destroy the flower’s beauty, you marvel at the complexity of that beauty. You don’t get less beauty —you get more. So discuss, please, this conflict — and let’s bring it close to home. Here’s your question: Answer: Have you ever found by knowing more about something that knowledge destroyed your sense of wonder and beauty? Conversely, have you ever found by knowing more about something, it increased your sense of wonder and beauty? Don’t forget — give us the details so we can follow you. I’m eager to hear your thoughts! All best, EA P.S. By the way, is ignorance and misrepresentation ever compatible with beauty? See poet John Keats: “Truth is Beauty, Beauty Truth.” Your thoughts?
