Case Study : Diana is a 19-year-old

Case Study : Diana is a 19-year-old African American college student who presents to the Student Health Center because her heart has been “beating too fast.” This has been happening on and off for the past month; the episodes can occur from 1-5 times a day and last anywhere from 1-10 minutes. The episodes seem to be brought on by walking up stairs and drinking iced tea, caffeinated soda or coffee. She has limited her activities. She reports feeling tired and lightheaded by the time the palpitations go away. Diana reports good health all of her life with no pertinent medical history. She is sexually active and takes oral contraceptives. She is unaware of any medical problems that her parents or grandparents may have. **** Identify and discuss of expected focused health assessment needs (which systems need to be assessed?) and anticipated assessment findings (and what do you expect to find?).
