Hello what should I respond to this
Hello what should I respond to this persons discussion post? When looking at descriptive statistics there are different factors to take into consideration. After reading the Casto (2018) article and finding out that some of the topics that go into descriptive statistics are health care utilization, resource allocation, needs assessment, quality improvement, and product development I set out to find an article that discussed product development however after reading the article I noticed that it addressed more than one of them. The article I read took a look at resource allocation, quality improvement, needs assessment and health care utilization. Resource allocation: This area kind of goes hand and hand with health care utilization because one of the teams that spoke with the patient and her family to heard out their concerns then found a company that made a bed that would help the patient sleep better (Jones, 2022). Quality improvement: The patient improved because after getting the proper sleep she was no longer depressed and willing to sit up more to eat. Another improvement was that she was able to do more activities of daily living for herself (Jones, 2022). Needs assessment: At a hospital there was a patient that had a stage two pressure ulcer, and she was not sleeping well. Her quality of life was also decreasing because she no longer had use of her legs. This made her depressed and because she had a hard time tolerating the lift that needed to be used for transfer, she did not always sit in the chair for meals. Not always moving caused further breakdown of the skin which made her family nervous for discharge (Jones, 2022). Health care utilization: Different teams came to talk to the patient and her family to address concerns that they had about her coming home (Jones, 2022). SCIENCE HEALTH SCIENCE NURSING NURS 342
