Two reasons why it is important for me to establish membership to professional organizations is to first enhance my skill in that area, and second I will become an expert in such area and will get to meet new people who are interested in the same thing I am interested into, we can then have discussions about any topic related to that field, do research studies and so much more. This will benefit a lot in both my personal life and social life. It might even show splendid results in my work environment. Any professional membership organizations will bring something good out of me that I can use anywhere. The more I use these skills, the better it will be for me. I can adapt in any environment and be able to teach others as well. A certification I would like to earn within the first two years after graduating with my BSN would be the ” Pain Management Nursing Certification” from the ANCC. I have always heard from other nurses and patients that it is always an issue with pain management in the field, at times, Doctors do not prescribe the proper medication to help reduce the pain. A little more knowledge about pain would have a great impact working at the bedside. It can save a life and help the patient throughout their stay or treatment.
