I need help with wording an abstract that provides a BRIEF AND CONCISE description of the entire project Below is the clinical problem, PICOT , and methods used to address the , significant results and implications. Results are the fact that students were able to utilize nurse report sheets and SBAR forms for bed side reporting. PICOT : In 22 ADN students, how effective is filling out nurse report sheets and handoff sheets at the start of shift compared to using concept care maps in their last clinical exposure in terms of critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and judgement skills in 6 weeks? P- In 22 Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) students divided into three classes in three different units for three days, I- what is the significant difference in the effectiveness of filling out nurse report sheets at the beginning of the shift and handing off sheets for bedside reporting (SBAR form) C- as compared to using concept care maps in their last clinical exposure O- for their development of critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and judgment skills as will be measured by the TANNER rubric T- 6 weeks Objectives 1. Students will be able to identify and compare the differences between nurse report sheets and concept care maps. 2. Students will be able to demonstrate the process of filling out nurse report sheets and handing off sheets during bedside reports using the SBAR form. 3. Students will be able to apply critical thinking and clinical reasoning when using concept care maps in their last clinical exposure. 4. Students will be able to demonstrate their understanding of the use of the Tanner rubric to measure their development of critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and judgment skills. Learning Activities Planned to meet the objectives 1. Lectures/presentations on nurse report sheets and concept care maps to allow students to compare and contrast. 2. Role-playing scenarios for students to practice filling out nurse report sheets and hand-off sheets during bedside reports using the SBAR form. 3. Observation of students during their last clinical exposure to assess the application of concept care maps and critical thinking skills. 4.
