I have decided to complete my BSN because I always want to keep learning, to gain more knowledge and increase health care quality. This is also a higher level to peruse continuing education to advance my nursing career and achieve my goals. Completing my baccalaureate will make me more competent, knowledgeable to provide better care for the patients. Some hospitals require only BSN nurses. I want to make myself more marketable in the profession. Having a BSN will allow me to get a better pay rate and better benefits than having an associate in nursing. In order to be successful in this course I plan to organize my schedule so I can keep on track with the assignments to be completed and meet all deadlines. Although I have a full-time job, I will ensure going into my student portal every day to review the topics. I also need to manage my time effectively and efficiently. Another way I plan to be successful is to familiarize myself with the GCU online materials which will be useful with my assignments.
