This means Fran has access to assistance when she needs it, but also has some privacy. Fran is widowed. Nick and Margie have recently noticed changes in Fran’s behaviour and ability to look after herself. Nick needed Tom and Gemma to help him provide support for Fran while Margie was away. Due to changes in Fran’s behaviour and complaints and resentment from Tom and Gemma, Nick decided that they needed some home care services to help take away some of the pressure and responsibility from his family.
