According to Reflective practice in healthcare and how to reflect effectively, an article posted to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), “reflection allows you to recognize your own strengths and weaknesses and use it to guide on-going learning” (2017, para. 3). We will use the reflection stages outlined in this article to guide our self-reflection activities each week. Every week you will discuss the achievement of one of the End of Program Student Learning Outcomes (EPSLOs). Overview: You will use the stages of reflection with associated prompts to record a video for this week’s topic: EPSLO 1: Use a caring holistic approach to provide and advocate for safe quality care for patients and families in an environment that values the uniqueness, dignity, and diversity of patients. Is there a person who helped in this situation, that may have gone unnoticed or unacknowledged?
