Preferred certifications include CPC (Certified Professional Coder), COC (Certified Outpatient Coder), CIC (Certified Inpatient Coder), or CCS (Certified Coding Specialist). 3. Minimum of 2 years of medical coding experience. 4. Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding. 5. Strong computer skills are necessary. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
