In this course I was able to gain vital information that I can take on to my nursing career. I believe with everything that I learned I will be able to be a great leader. I’ve learned the many types of leadership like democratic, authoritarian, and laissez faire. I will be able to identify each one. Also, how to build a good relationship with my coworkers and patients. Use evidence-based practice to guide clinical reasoning and clinical judgement as a basis for nursing decision making. Evidence-based practice is used to provide patients with best optimal care. Nurses use EBP to make smart judgements and patient care plans. The healthcare is ever evolving, and we must stay on our feet. Collaborate in healthcare delivery systems settings for improved patient outcomes. Working in a hospital I’m around many health professionals. They all play important roles in the patients care. From the transporters that take patients to test, the CNA that help the nurses, respiratory and therapists give patients their breathing treatments. We all work together to make to provide the optimal care a patient needs. Demonstrate principles of professional identity and professionalism for the nurse within the context of regulatory and practice standards. Honesty, loyalty, fidelity, empathy and trust I believe demonstrate principles of professional identity and professionalism. They will mode my nursing path. They are help improve patient care by organizing and advancing the nursing profession. We can count on them for the most up to date information.
