During this TED talk “A journey through infertility- over terrors edge”, Camille Preston talks to us about her journey while dealing with infertility. Thousands of couples across the country experience infertility. She waited later in life to have a child and with this decision came the inability to birth a baby naturally. Camille and her husband decided to use the in vitro fertilization or IVF alternative to having a baby. She had multiple problems with her mental and physical health along the way including being put in the hospital for heavy bleeding and her baby being kept in the hospital after being prematurally birthed. Do you think that the IVF procedure should be continued even if it can possibly cause physical and mental problems in the future? How can we help people experiencing infertility feel less alone, or different for not being able to have children? Many people think creating children manually is immoral. After reading the prompts provided in class and watching this video on how IFV can affect a families life, what are your opinions on this procedure? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BBmMtVfZ4Y
