IMPRESSION: Prior imaging or report not available that prompted current MRI. Recommend uploading outside CT and report to correlate with liver abnormality seen. An addendum would be issued thereafter. 1. Segment V liver observation demonstrates peripheral nodular arterial phase enhancement, but measures much smaller on noncontrast T2/STIR sequence. Isointense on the remaining postcontrast and focal on the remaining noncontrast sequences. No clear correlate on prior CT; however, phase was portal venous phase (only seen on arterial phase on current MRI). Indeterminate. Unclear whether reflects abnormality seen by outside CT. If unable to upload prior imaging, would consider repeat MRI in 6 months 2. Nonenhancing cystic structure visualized at the right medial perihepatic space, abutting the liver. Stable since the earliest CT from 3/23/2024. 3. Remaining findings as in the body of the report ……. Providers: To speak with a Vantage radiologist, call (253)661-4755. Narrative EXAM: MRI ABDOMEN W/ AND W/O CONTRAST 9/17/2024 9:16 AM HISTORY: Abdominal mass, intra-abdominal neoplasm suspected. TECHNIQUE: Coronal HASTE; axial HASTE, in and out of phase, diffusion, VIBE pre and dynamic postcontrast and T1 fat-saturated postcontrast sequences were obtained through the abdomen. Subtraction images were generated from the VIBE data. COMPARISON: CT abdomen/pelvis dated 3/26/2024 and 3/23/2024 CONTRAST: 15 cc MultiHance FINDINGS: Liver: -Tiny T2 hyperintense structure within segment 5 of the liver measuring 3 mm. Larger region of nodular peripheral enhancement measuring upwards of 8 mm. Region is relatively isointense on the remaining sequences, but not well evaluated due to location/slight motion. No clear correlate on prior CT; however, phase was portal venous phase (only seen on arterial phase on current MRI) – Nonenhancing cystic-appearing structure visualized at the right medial perihepatic space, abutting the liver measuring approximately 8 mm (5/19). Stable since earlier CT from 3/23/2024. Bile ducts: Normal. Gallbladder: Normal. Pancreas: Normal. Adrenal glands: Normal. Spleen: Normal. Kidneys: Tiny right inferior pole renal cyst. Otherwise, kidneys are unremarkable. Vascular: Portal, hepatic veins, SMV and splenic veins are patent. Aorta is normal in caliber. Lymph nodes: No enlarged lymph node. Intestines: Bowel is normal in caliber. Stable size and morphology of the appendix Peritoneum: No ascites. Bone marrow: No focal osseous lesions on limited evaluation of the marrow.
