Javier, a 9-year-old Hispanic male was brought to the EC by his parents. He had been playing in the yard when he screamed. He ran to his mother who discovered a bite mark on his leg. Javier reports “a snake” bit him. Javier’s uncle investigated the yard and found a large Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake in the area where Javier had been playing.
