Reply to this post name is Kelsey Ancell. I am currently located in Columbia Missouri. I don’t have much experience in the social work field as I recently graduated with my bachelors in Human Services. In the past I have worked at a summer camp for people with disabilities and I worked at a supported living facility that serviced adults with developmental disabilities. Currently, I am working for an adolescent SUD program. We service youth, ages 12-18 years old. There are a multitude of reasons why I am pursuing an MSW. One day I would like to have my own practice that specializes in play therapy for children. I also feel like this is the best step for my career. Everything that I will learn throughout my time at Walden will push me to become a better social worker. It will help me grow as a professional and provide better care for my current clients and ones to come.
