Nursing practice aims not just for human “health” but also

Nursing practice aims not just for human “health” but also for emancipation and human flourishing. This paper should reflect how you, as a uniquely qualified graduate nurse, will one day contribute to this aim by using all the ways of knowing in nursing. Think back to our first discussion in this course. We examined this idea from Chinn et al. (2022) that “nursing knowledge can provide self-identity and confidence as you have a firmer base when your ideas are questioned… as you become more familiar with knowledge development you can begin to think about how assumptions, definitions, and relationships within each of the patterns of knowing can be challenged… understanding knowledge development will provide a basis on which to take risks, act deliberately and improve practice” (p. 18). With this in mind, use the patterns of knowing to reflect on an experience within your practice or clinical experience that you wish you could go back to and change using, at a minimum, the prompts noted below. Make sure that you identify each way of knowing using headers and your paragraph’s opening sentences. A definition of the pattern should also be included in your experience analysis. APA 7 style citations and a reference list are expected. An introduction and conclusion are also to be included in this paper.helpful What was the experience (what was the problem)? (empirical) What did it mean (to you/to others)? (aesthetic) Did you know what to do, and did you do what you knew you should do? (personal) Was it right? Was it responsible? (ethical) Please link this situation to the ANA’s (2015) Code of Nursing (found in the readings for Week 5). What (or who) benefitted? Were changes needed? Were there any barriers (to providing care)? (emancipatory/socio-political) What would you do differently if you could engage in the same experience again? (praxis) Does this situation relate to the theory you explored in Nightingale`s environmental theory? If so, how? (utilization of nursing theory) Close your paper by addressing the relationship between the four original patterns of knowing (empiric, ethical, aesthetic, and personal) with emancipatory knowledge (i.e., social justice) as the unifying and centering principle for practice. Also, how does applying the patterns of knowing in nursing to this situation help to Chapter 10 in Chi nn et al. (2022) may be helpful. Diversity, equity, and inclusion?
