I intend to internally distribute the project’s findings by delivering an oral presentation. The EBP presentation follows this sequence: the clinical question, the search for evidence, the critical appraisal of the evidence, the implications for practice, and the evaluation (Tappen, 2023). Afterwards, there is an examination of the project’s usefulness for the organization. PowerPoint presentations are a popular method of delivery. A captivating presentation begins with a compelling introduction and concludes with a powerful finale (Tappen, 2023). To provide an overview of the content, slides should be limited to only two or three concise points of information. Supplementary material can be provided alongside the presentation. A vital image, diagram, or outline can be copied and shared. The presentation can be converted into a digital format, allowing it to be utilized as a podcast, videocast, webinar, or shared on social media platforms (Melnyk and Fineout-Overholt, 2023). Additionally, the presenter can give contact details following the presentation, enabling the audience or stakeholders to make inquiries or seek further information (Tappen, 2023). The project sponsors or funders, the organization’s executives or leadership, and the staff will receive the project report. Informing the sponsors, funders, and executives about the allocation of funds and accomplishments is necessary when presenting the report (Tappen, 2023). It is essential to honor the funder’s or sponsor’s request to distribute the results to the public. An executive summary serves the purpose of conveying the project results to the organization’s executives (Dang et al., 2021). The executive summary will include a concise depiction of the problem, the rationale behind the necessary change, and a comprehensive overview and outline of the project that demonstrates its alignment with the organization’s mission and vision. It will cover the implementation process, evaluation metrics, and outcomes pertaining to financial, patient satisfaction, and clinical aspects. Furthermore, it will address a sustainability plan and other organizational implications. When delivering the report to the staff, one important strategy is to concentrate the presentation on addressing the benefits for the personnel (Dang et al., 2021). This facilitates the staff’s understanding of the forthcoming changes and their designated responsibilities. The presenter should extend an invitation to the staff to ask questions to gain a deeper insight into their comprehension of the presentation. (Tappen, 2023). Once the EBP has been established, it is up to nurses to follow through to implement the EBP. What creates barriers for implementation is the lack of dissemination of information. The lack resources and information is the biggest contributor to lack of motivation and loss of interest (Dagne & Beshah, 2021). Another barrier indicated by Dagne & Beshah, is the mismanagement of time and nurse attitudes. Their research and interviews revealed the underlying source of [negative] attitudes is the lack of time to read a large amount of information and training. One nurse stated they have enough time to work and take care of patients. Nurses don’t have time to study and read – they are hard at work (Dagne & Beshah, 2021). (2023), “Dissemination has been defined as the targeted distribution of information and intervention materials to a specific public health or clinical practice audience, and as being simply about getting the findings of your research to the people who can make use of them, to maximise the benefit of the research without delay.” When disseminating the findings to internal stakeholders, the information can be provided via workshops, Power Point presentations, webinars, stakeholder meetings, group educational sessions, one-on-one meetings with individual stakeholders, emails, flyers, pamphlets, and newsletters.
