Reflection on Learning Describe how learning in this course helped
The patient is a 4-year-old female diagnosed with a scarlet fever with abrasion and peeling of the skin. The Rash has worsened, spread, and become painful and uncomfortable, and itchy. Mom notes a decrease in appetite and that her face and dorsum of her feet are more swollen than the baseline. Skin started to desquamate over small areas on her face, these areas appeared scabbed as well. The family denies any visible drainage, abdominal pain, vomiting, or diarrhea. The patient is very calm and cooperative. Family members are at the bedside.
