Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Model (TREM) This is a group program consisting of 24-29 sessions that is specifically designed for women who have both experienced trauma struggle have substance use or mental health challenges. As a result, it is appropriate for all types of individuals including those who may not be ready for other approaches (such as individuals who struggle with psychosis, those who are homeless, those are are illiterate, etc.). Trauma Addictions Mental Health And Recovery (TAMAR) This approach was created specifically for females in correctional facilities. It is 15-weeks long with sessions occurring twice weekly for 90 minutes. It combines psychoeducation, psychodynamic theory, and art therapy.
