I have a research question done in the PICOT format and have found 22 relevant studies. I need to identify three evidence-based references to formulate a valid clinical question. I picked these three references to evaluate based on level of evidence, how the study was conducted, variables studied, and how useful to practice is it.
My PICOT question: In adult patients with acute DVT in the lower extremities (P), how does Lovenox (I), compare to Factor 10 thrombolytics (C), affect thrombolysis in the complete breakdown of the DVT as seen by duplex ultrasound (O), after 10 days (T).
