A 35 year old female with known history of Asthma comes to the ER in acute Asthma exacerbation. The provider orders back to back nebulized-albuterol treatments and IV Solumedrol at 125mg. (IV Solumedrol is a steroid medication.) This patient states that she is feeling hot and shaky which is a normal reaction to albuterol and steroid treatment. However, she now states that she is having blurry vision, increased thirst and feeling unusually weak and tired.
