CODE ICD-10-CM/PCS Patient is a 61-year-old male who has a history of hypertension. He presented to the ED complaining of chest pain and later was admitted with recurrent unstable angina that could not be controlled with sublingual nitroglycerin. He has no history of having a CABG or angioplasty in the past. During his admission, he had a left cardiac catheterization with coronary arteriography with low osmolar contrast. Findings are consistent with a narrowing in the left anterior descending coronary artery and stenosis in the intermediate branch. A successful PTCA with placement of drug eluting stents in both vessels was carried out.
