Ms. Hilda Beck is being admitted for fluid replacement therapy and monitoring after being assessed by her primary health care provider this morning. Ms. Beck went to see her doctor as she had been experiencing severe diarrhea and vomiting over the last 48 hours. She has been unable to eat anything due to nausea but did drink a little water because she knew she needed fluids. Her doctor determined that she required immediate medical attention. Be very specific and state exactly what you would do (e.g., do not state “take vital signs”, but explain WHICH vital signs and consider WHY each is important) 2. write down 15 assessments you will do for this patient 3. If you plan to assess a piece of subjective data, write down the exact question you would ask. 4. Explain WHY you would do each assessment. What is your rationale? 5.
