PLEASE HELP ME TO REVISE MY INTRODUCTION FOR MY THESIS RESEARCH THANK YOU

Breast milk is the only  source of zinc for breast-fed infants and continues to be a potentially important source of zinc for older infants and toddlers who are breast-fed during infancy. Therefore, we looked at the available information about zinc levels and total milk yield in breast milk and made estimates of the amount of zinc excreted from breast milk in  children of different ages. Zinc levels in breast milk decrease rapidly in the first few months after birth and then slowly. Breast milk alone is not certain for a sufficient period of time, but it covers all  theoretical zinc requirements at least in the first few months of life. Even after introducing complementary foods, breast milk covers more than half of the estimated zinc requirements  of children up to 2 years of age. Health programs to promote and support breastfeeding should be incorporated into strategies to ensure proper zinc status in infants (Brown, K., Stone, R., Krebs, N. And Peerson, J., 2009).
Breastfeeding is when you feed your baby breast milk, usually directly from your breast. It’s also called nursing. Many medical experts, including the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, strongly recommend breastfeeding exclusively with no formula, juice, or water for 6 months. After the introduction of other foods, it recommends continuing to breastfeed through the baby’s first year of life. Breastfed children perform better on intelligence tests, are less likely to be overweight or obese and less prone to diabetes later in life. Women who breastfeed also have a reduced risk of breast and ovarian cancers.
Breast milk is the ideal food for infants. It is safe, clean and contains antibodies which help protect against many common childhood illnesses. Newborns often want to feed every 2-3 hours. By 2 months, feeding every 3-4 hours is common, and by six months, most babies feed every 4-5 hour.
Studies have shown that parental attitudes are a powerful predictor of infant nutritional choices. Identifying and understanding  the mother’s infant feeding attitudes  and their social networks should be an early step in designing and implementing breastfeeding interventions.
Parents of breast-fed babies were more willing to breastfeed than parents of breast-fed babies and were more aware of the health  and nutritional benefits of breastfeeding. Fathers of breast-fed and formula-fed babies were more likely than their partners to publicly agree to breastfeed women. Parents found that the feeding method they chose was a more convenient alternative. Mothers fed infant formula tended to believe that women who occasionally drink alcohol should not be breastfed (Shaker, I., Scott, J. and Reid, M., 2004).
