Time Management and Exercise Prescription:
For the next 10 weeks, organize planner once a week and take 1-2 hours daily. Incorporate 3 to 4 days a week to exercise at home for 45 minutes to an hour.
Calculate adherence rate and report the overall percentage. If you started week 2 of the class, then calculate your adherence up until the date when you are writing the paper. Ideally you will have 10 weeks of data to analyze. You can also report trends on a daily basis or weekly, depending on the frequency of your prescription.
Now provide some analysis of adherence. What were the factors that helped with adherence, what were challenges? What strategies were implement to make improvements in adherence? What motivated, what distracted, etc. How does experience compare with adherence rates in the general population for any type of behavior change?
Take a look at some adherence data in a few disease states (any chronic disease will have literature on adherence in medications or interventions) and/or behavior change literature. Compare the chronic disease adherence rates with yours.
At the end of the paper, give some summary recommendations as if you were counseling yourself as a patient. What do you think would help you improve?
