The Discussion group would first need to determine the overall goals of the activity and then develop specific objectives that are aligned with those goals. These talks might be delivered by a nurse, a doctor, or an educator specializing in diabetes. After the completion of the lectures, patients could be given a post-test to evaluate their progress.
