Based on my experienced as working in the long-term acute care, this situation is happening in a lot of situations, it was just few days i encountered patient who was transferred to my workplace, she was frustrated the way her insurance coverage brought her to our facility due to the high-cost infusion that Medicare needs to approve. She kept on refusing to be checked with her vital signs, blood sugar, she verbalized that she was not sick to be confined in a hospital, she just needs t=infusion at home. Her anxiousness about contracting any communicable disease upon staying in the hospital was so high that she doesn’t want different nurses to come in and out her room, access her central line for changing IV’s was her great concern.

And by citing this wide comparison on hospital stay versus home health stay is worthwhile of study. And i agree on that mostly if sickness can be treated at home it will provide a great way to recover being in comfortable place and as home considered a safe environment for some of the patients.
