When writing proposals for funders, it is important include any type of information that a funder could possibly ask or want to know. One of the components that will be of interest to the funder is the environment of the research. “Remember that the reviewers and funders are far less familiar with work environment. In fact, they may know virtually nothing about it. The type and amount of information about the environment that is requested by a funder varies widely, from several pages to just a few lines within the proposal. Most important is the extent to which the environment is supportive of the research” Denisco & Barker, 2016, p. 459). What are some items that should be included in the proposal about the environment? Why is this so important?
