The United States has, in my opinion, some horrible nutrition practices. Food is so expensive that basically, people on a fixed income can only afford fast food. I also think it’s a shame that people aren’t taught to cook more in schools because that makes them rely on the fast-food industry more than they should. I think more education needs to be provided to patients so they can more easily follow these guidelines, and I think the culture of the United States needs to make a massive shift towards healthier eating habits.
