What is a response to this question? With a background in information technology, creating a web page solely for use in sharing a visual representation of my clinical skills at a site of care, providing depictions of bedside care, assessment techniques, and overall professional and interpersonal relationships with my colleagues and patients will allow viewing parties a more personal viewpoint of me as a provider and expose my innate communication skills. My second strategy will be in the utilization of a resume to highlight biographical information, educational background, Employment history with a brief description of roles and responsibilities, awards, membership to various honor societies, and Professional qualification certificates. This will also enhance the reader’s perspective on my quest for academic, professional, and personal growth as a scholar-practitioner (Casey & Egan, 2010) Both mediums of “branding” (McMillan et al., 2014) myself as a scholar-professional armed with the proof of my commitment to gaining both educational experience that is practical from Walden University, combined with my personal philosophy that aligns with Walden’s emphasis on societal change will allow foster the means to network and open further channels from which action can be taken on my part to serve as an ambassador of change in areas like Africa.
