Subjective Data
Bones, ligaments, joints, and body tissues comprise the musculoskeletal system. They
collaborate to sustain the body’s weight and assist you in moving (Kosek, et al., 2021). Using the
diagnosis history of the patient will assist in identifying potential or actual risks and some
abnormal findings.

Objective Data
This customer is a 23-year-old Caucasian woman who has a stiff, swollen ankle. She claims she
stepped ‘odd’ off a stair two days ago and felt a tearing sound. She is not on any drugs and has no
record of allergies. The client experiences 5/10 discomfort with acute twinges while attempting
to walk; rest and ice reduce pain to 2/10 hurting. The pain is mostly felt on the external of the
foot and ankle. There has been no past harm to this part. The client has previously been
diagnosed with a knee sprain on the left knee.
The patient is clean but she looks uncomfortable. Her height is good in consideration of her
current age but she has deformities in her left leg since she cannot walk easily. The patient has
limited motion rage even with help of walking devices and she is mentally stable and
communicates well. The client does not experience severe pain from her abnormality.
Risk findings
I observe that my patient has an unsteady gait and cannot walk with ease, a walking abnormality.
The patient can have foot problems which include corns or sores. It can also cause adverse
movement disorders including Parkinson’s disease.
