CASE:
“SKYLA’S CHOICE” 
Skyla is a 23 yr. old young lady who graduated from St. Scholastica. For about 3 years she is being courted by two guys, one a Benildean and the other a Lasallian. She enjoys being with the Benildean because the guy is free spirited, spontaneous, and adventurous. On the other hand, she likes to be with the Lasallian because he is very driven, and focused in what he does, and very orderly with things. Whenever she has a date with the Benildean guy, it is always outdoors, like mountain biking, jogging, they even tried bungee jumping once. With the Lasallian guy, it is always in a quiet and cozy place. What she doesn’t like with the Benildean guy though is his lack of direction and at times his being a “happy go lucky” kind of guy. On the other hand, what she dislikes with the Lasallian guy is his being so rigid and not that flexible with things and situations. To be clarified with her situation, Skyla consulted her parents. Her Mom advised, “My dear, you should choose the Benildean guy because he is so sweet, and spontaneous. He will make a good Husband.” On the other hand, her Dad objected by saying, “My child, you should choose the Lasallian because he is so driven and focused in his goals. He will make a good Father.” Instead of being clarified, she became more confused. You are her friend so she went to you and ask, what seems to be the problem here? Why is it difficult for me to choose? What should I do? Whom will I choose?
